NieA_7 Review

NieA under Seven I have to say if your interested in watching a pretty normal, everyday anime series - then this one is not for you. NieA under 7 is a story about a starving college student named Mayuko, who lives in a tiny apartment. Her "roommate" dare I say, is an alien. Yes, an alien from outerspace, named NieA. (the blonde, shown left)

In this series humans live side-by-side with aliens (in tokyo atleast) like it's no big deal. And the only way to tell a human apart from an alien, is by the little antennae that sticks out on the top of an aliens head. But it's funny though that NieA (as old as she is) doesn't seem to have her antennae yet.

Even though the animation has kind of a serious look to it (which is Yoshito Abe's style) it's actually full of fun and crazy antics. NieA is always hungry, and doing whacky stuff, like building UFO's out of garbage, and collecting "treasures"... which most people would call trash..

This series is by the creator of Serial experiments lain, and at first I thought I wouldn't like it because it is so different than lain. Lain was very weird, dark, and mysterious, and thats what made that series so popular. But this series is very bright, and filled with jokes; and it's a comedy. But after watching it a just a little bit, I was laughing without end. I highly recommend it!
