Mike - what happend here?

*Sigh* Well Izanami... hackers happened here.

mzanime.com has been attacked by several hackers and some of those jerks even uploaded malicious files so that our visitors would download them and get viruses.

I even got a virus. It crippled my whole computer and I lost quite a lot of files.... Thankfully I had some of my files backed up.

Oh no! Thats terrible! So.. what are you going to do now?

All I can really do is fix the damange, and make sure that the site is more secure than it was before. I have to patch quite a lot of things, plus - unfortunatly I will have to remove all of the executable window sitters and screen toys... they are just too dangerous to be kept on the site anymore.

Until mzanime.com is safe again for all of the people who have loyally been coming to this web site for years we're going to be offline for a little while.

Mike, I'm really sad now... :'-( How long till the site will be back?

Don't be sad. I'm going to be working as fast as possible to get the site back on its feet. In between all the work I've got going, and trying to learn japanese, it might take several months at the earliest... but I really hope not.
